About
Andrew L. Shorb has been practicing law since 2012, and represents individuals in all family matters such as contested and uncontested divorce, property division, spousal support, paternity, child support, child custody, domestic violence restraining orders, and military divorces. Straightforward and to the point, Andrew eliminates confusion over complex laws and overwhelm about the CA divorce procedure by getting to know clients personally and understanding the specific goals of each client.
Since law school, Mr. Shorb has had a passion for solving other people’s problems and finding solutions when personal emotions are running high.
As a Partner at the San Diego divorce law firm of Shorb & Connor APC, Mr. Shorb exclusively practices family law. In the past, Mr. Shorb practiced law at a civil ligation law firm in San Diego, representing clients in real estate disputes, business partnership disputes, medical malpractice, negligent loan servicing, financial elder abuse, and bankruptcy matters.
With a track record of obtaining sizable awards for countless clients, extensive trial experience, and advocating for clients as a public defender – this experience and tenacity across other areas of law has proven invaluable to clients when issues arise during divorce over property division, the family business, and large debt burdens.
Andrew earned his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law, in San Diego, California, and has been involved with the local community since graduation. Before law school, Andrew attended San Diego State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government.
As an avid lover of the ocean and marine life, Andrew enjoys sailing and working on his boat with his wife.
